Mid-arch foot pain

Posted by Sue on 5/22/01 at hrmin (048587)

I have a small lump in the middle of my arch. It is hard (like a pebble) and is causing a great deal of discomfort. I do not run or participate in any activities that cause a great deal of foot stress.

I do not wear high heals.
I am 51 years old and in generally good health. I have never had any other problems with my feet.

Any idea what the problem is and what can be done to alleviate the pain.

Thanks

This one needs a local podiatrist to take a look. Could be any thing from a wart to fibroma, to a melanoma. Get an examination please
