heel pain

Posted by Carol R on 5/25/01 at hrmin (048912)

I am having heel pain and the Dr. said it was planter fascitis, I have been through the taping and now an insert, am no better. My main question is why would I be having a lot of heel pain on the back of my heel when I sit in the recliner or lay on my back in the bed? It is so bad I can hardly stand for my heels to touch the mattress?

You should read the PFBook that you can click on at the top of this page. The plantar fascia does not travel to the back of the heel. Dr. B.
