Found out why my feet are such a pain!

Hello all,

Decided after my Pod didn't know what to do to check and see
if my spine had anything to do with my foot pain. Come to find
out that yes I do have PF but I also have Spondylothesis which
is a degeneration of my 5th lumbar disk which is causing the
nerve inpingement with my ankles..Also the foot surgery
I had back when I was 14 is now causing me problems with
my matarsal area on both feet. I had a bilateral bone transplant
in both feet in 1967.. Thankfully I caught this before
my good foot went bad..The Doc said it was just a matter of
time before that would happen.

He is using Ionophoresis, ultrasound and foot massages to
break up the scar tissue..He's very much into the natural
approach as well as Chinese medicine etc..I am getting
relief for the first time in 6 months..Dr Pacelli is a Chirpractor
but he has lots of knowledge on physical therapy as well..

This after seeing 4 conventional doctors that didn't have any
idea what to do..They didn't think to evaluate my spine or
xray my foot at my previous surgery sites..I was shocked when
I saw what that long ago surgery did to my feet.

I was majorly bummed out about the Spondylothesis diagnosis..
But after my first treatment I went home and could walk on my
bad foot without pain..

Still taking one day at a time but feeling a bit more encouraged..

paula: i would sure want a backup diagnosis form a Neurosurgeon or Orthopedic Back specialist on the Spondylothesis diagnosis.
