Daily care of P.F. is a must to recovery It doesn't just go away.

I check this site twice daily for new insight on P.F. As a P.F. patient twice in my life, this bout is a 15mo. stint. Just wanted to add what I have learned. 1. Must see a foot specialist and rest the feet as much as possible ( do not stand in one place for long periods of time) 2. stretching before rising and throughout the day (calf muscles and foot muscles) 3. Knowlege (learning the proper course of treatment for P.F. 4. Support shoes with a proper fitted arch support/heel cup or orthotic. (trial and error here. One must try to figure out wha works best for them.) Switch if they aren't helping 5. No bare feet or cute sandals while on your feet (switch to something more stylish while seated at your event if you want 6.Exhaust everything before surgery including E.S.W.T. which would be the next recommendation after conservative treatment. 7. Ice or heat (from what I've read, no one really knows. everyone has a different take on this. New injuries probably ice, later heat. I do not do either too much for fear of scarring or preventing good blood flow. 8. Support groups! All cases are unique yet we all know the pain and alteration in our lifestyles. Finally, but most importantly, self care is imperative. No-0ne will do any of this for you. Don't wait for this to go away on its own. Participate in getting better daily. Don't walk through it ( avoid long walks and weight bearing exercise until you are ready) If you ignore your feet they will bite you back! Rest the feet as much as possible, stretch and wear good shoes. I did the Ossatron procedure 3 weeks ago. With following all the above post ossatron I am finally recovering thus far! DO YOUR PART IN RECOVERING! This is daily not random. Best of Luck!

You're right on with the above post. These are the exact steps I take to heal.
EXACT. I have had it for a little over a month.
