a success story

Posted by john h on 7/26/01 at 16:11 (054387)

many of you will remember yoko as a regular on the board a couple of years ago. she could hardly walk at the time. today she emailed me she is totally pain free and plays and walks 18 holes of golf a few times a week and goes on long runs weekly with ZERO pain. She thinks the turning point for her was her custom orthotics. as i remember she tried it all like the rest of us including accupunture in Japan. someone we know is apparently well and back to an active life.

Thanks for sharing that with us John. I always enjoy reading about people that have conquered PF pain. It gives the rest of us a ray-of hope!

This is nice to know, John.

By the way - when you've mentioned Yoko in the past I always thought you were talking about Yoko Ono. (Maybe you were!?)

Were othotics the only thing that eased her misery?

some board members (wendy i think) used to make fun of 'john and yoko'. yoko lives in new york city and for all i know could be The Yoko. she is very nice and someone we can look at and say they got their life back..
