my symptoms

Posted by susamm on 8/11/01 at 11:52 (056316)

Thanks to everyone for the response to my plea for advice.

Since I am new to the message board, I was a bit shy the first time. I'd like to tell you a bit more about my symptoms and hope to hear more from you.

Both feet hurt. Mostly in the balls of both feet and the toes. The pain is a general soreness although frequently there is a burning sensation. I have sparking pains in my toes. Sometimes my feet cramp. Sometimes my ankles burn. Sometimes I have a buzzing sensation in my feet.

What do you think?

Better to be garrulous than shy. Two questions:

Did the pain occur in both feet simultaneously?

Do you or do you not feel like the source of all the pain in each foot is the inner side of your ankle, just behind and below it?

The pain definitely started in the left foot first. The right foot still is not as bad. In fact the physical therapist said he did not see the right foot as a problem; however, it does hurt.

Sorry. Although my ankles hurt, I do not feel they are the actual source of the pain.

I'd be wary of a definitive TTS diagnosis. For TTS, the ankle area should be the source of pain.
