To Ed Davis, DPM- Answer to ? below

Posted by Brenda G. on 8/14/01 at 06:58 (056682)

Hi, sorry, I work 12 hour days, didn't get your question till late last night and must of done something wrong, because my answer didn't show below.
My answer- the tenderness, pain and swelling is exactly behind the third and fourth toes, not the 1st,2nd, or 5th. There is also pain along the outside bottom of the foot (almost the edge of the foot). Any clues? I may not get your answer till late tonight, my appreciation in advance. Brenda

Any discoloration or bruising at the area of swelling? Metatarsal stress fracture is a possibility--best to get it checked out.
