Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome and Gripping feeling in Right hip and thigh - periodically

Posted by Doris K on 9/06/01 at 15:03 (059251)

With a diagnosis of TTS after having an EMG, I also have a gripping feeling (for a few seconds) in my upper right thigh and hip area on a periodic basis. It happens, sitting, standing, or walking. Could this be connected with TTS or an entirely separate issue?

It is likely to be separate from an anatomical standpoint. Nevertheless, gait changes due to TTS can exaccerbate back problems which lead to symptoms in the hip and legs.

I think i could have similar things going on.
I had epf and morton's neuroma surgeries together, but
i always had burning feeling and pain in my hips, thigh,
and back of leg. It is very annoying feeling and it is
hard to describe because when wearing long pants it
rubbers against my skin feels like a cold and numb
sensations. Can you relate to this ?

Also, i had a mri and ncv diagnosis with tarsal
tunnel. And not sure what it is because i had
these symptoms before foot surgery. Could you
let me know your thoughts or suggestions?
