"Socks 'n' Sandals"

[ This should probably be on the social board, but I figure no one would see it there :-) ]

I heard a wicked catchy song on my favorite radio station (FM, 90.7, WFUV, Fordham University). They play every kind of new and interesting music imaginable, and when they played 'Socks 'n' Sandals' by Graham Parker, I instantly thought of heelspurs.com and john h. The song is on the new 'Deepcut to Nowhere' album. Here's the amazon.com link

and here's another at http://www.cdnow.com , which has more audio formats available for song snippets -- the 30 seconds of 'Socks 'n' Sandals' is a perfect synopsis of it :-)

Enjoy!

john a you are the man! 'Socks and Sandals' who would have ever thought! I played the snippet and sort of liked it! How on earth did you find that very appropriate piece of music. Probably cut in California.

Just heard it by chance on the drive into work this morn'. I'll probably buy the cd. Scott should have a place to uplad mp3 files - requiring of course that all the songs be 'foot related'.
