An Aussie reaction

Posted by Dr. Chris Reynolds on 9/16/01 at 05:16 (060556)

Today is a national day of mourning in Australia for those who died at the hands of terrorists on September 11. These are people who would have us believe their evil distortion that God approves of their actions.
I would like you all to know that there is a profound sorrow affecting us all here down under and that we as a nation are praying for you.
On a more personal note, over the past few months I have made some wonderful American friends here through the Jade trial. As I watched the horror unfold in the early hours of Tuesday morning, my heart went out not only to the victims of this senseless, frontal attack on humanity itself, but to my friends as well. Given how deeply this incident has affected me on the other side of the earth, it is impossible to imagine what you as Americans are going through at the moment. My thoughts and prayers are very much with you all.
You will overcome.
Chris Reynolds.

Dr. Chris --

Bless you & all the Aussies! I loved my 2 trips to your country & still have good friends there to this day.

We know you're with us.

Good on you, my friend. Fair Dinkum.

Oh - I think I know!

My brother spent time in Austrilia. I think it means something like

'For real!?'
'No kidding?'

Am I close?

Judy - you are right yet again, and I apologize. All this talk about Dick Cheney got me sort of stirred up. Bless you! B.
