type of boot

Last question ! I use a type of hiking boot (no names mentioned) that is bent midsole to allow the foot to roll which is supposed to make walking more efficient . The result is a big U shaped dip (about 2 cm ) from heel to toes. Do you think this could be aggravating things by stretching the fascia ?

The 'U' helps reduce the amount of dorsyflection needed when ambulating. If you do not have a range of motion problem, then it is more important what kind of insert/orthotic is in the boot. Dr. B.
