Top of Foot Pain

Posted by Susan D on 10/10/01 at 10:32 (062632)

My father is 70 years old and in great shape with the exception of his feet. He has been an athlete all of his life and now is experiencing severe foot pain on the top of his feet. He tried magnetic therapy for a while and it worked, however he has now become immune to this as well. He has gone to doctors and they have told him it is arthritis and there is nothing they can do for him. Any suggestions?

That it. Just live with it. There is alot that can be done ranging from
proper shoes with plastizole inserts. Local steriod injections. Tapings
NSAID such as vioxx. The cause is the first thing that needs to be addressed. Why is he having such severe pain. There are many small nerves that get imflamed and injuried on the top of the foot.
