Has anyone tried taping their feet ankles?

Posted by Chris M. on 10/28/01 at 10:08 (063719)

I have been reading some interesting taping techniques from 'The Runner's Repair manual' and 'Sports Injuries of the Ankle and Foot' although none specifically say it will remedy tts, I am considering trying it. Anymore (I am 5 months post op a standard tts release on left, with mild tts right) most of my pain is in the calf area, with stiff feeling with the dorsiflexion movement. Any suggestions are truly appreciated.

yes i had my feet taped for five months. it lasts for awhile but it doesn't keep the tts from getting worse. my ankles started hurting so bad i couldn't stand the pressure of the tape. you also lose muscle in your feet.
