Hi,

Posterior tibial tendonitis is a very common tendonitis of the foot. IT can and usually does occur with plantar fasciitis. Pain, swelling in the arach and on the inside of the ankle are two excellent indicators that you need to have an examination. The foot specialist will press on the the tendon and put your foot and ankle thru a range of motion . Very easly to diagnosis if you know what to look for. Rest, boot cast, nsaid, physical therapy are some of the treatments to use for this very painful condition
