Posted by Jenny J on 12/28/01 at 21:30 (068036)

I sure hope you can help, I have had surgery on left foot with clipping of plantar fas. and removal of heel spur. Pain is still as severe as before surg.(July 30,01) Pain is worse after sitting 3min. or longer, after being on cement or standing any longer than 30 min. Had accupunture, no help; vicodin, no help; orthotics, no help. 5 or 6 shots of cortisone in heel helped at first then no help after 2 years of shots..need spur removed in right foot but left foot can't stand pressure of my weight while in a cast for 3 weeks..Feet burn, have sharp pains that will go up to my ankle..Sometimes if I had been on my feet all day and when I goto bed I have to prop pillow under ankles to keep feet from touching anything..This is really playing havock on my nerves mentally.....Please help with any sugestions.....Very desperately seeking help for relief, Have not worked since last of May...Need the money not the pain....!!!!!!THANK YOU, JENNY

Hi,

Have you considered ESWT? This is a non-invasive procedure that is done in our office. We have relieved many patients that have had failed heel spur surgery. IF you would like any additonal information please feel free to contact me at (email removed) for an information packet. There is also
a section on this web site about ESWT.
