Donna, I think you are making a wise decision. Surgery isn't the answer for every foot problem and often makes things worse. Unfortunately many people seeking a fast cure jump into it without considering the consequences. What's one more opinion or another one if your still not happy with the physician or the treatment suggested. Remember you have the final say as to what treatment you will ultimately have, so stick to your plan. You may be in pain now, but no physician is going to guarantee
his/or her surgery will eliminate all your pain either.

I hope your surprised and find surgery wasn't needed after all. Good luck.

Thank you for opinon, when you have survived cancer
& all the treatments, pain is the name of the game
As I said there has to be a good Dr. out there some where, who wants to treat the Dx. w/o surgery & I will
keep looking.
Thanks

Have you seen or can you see Stephen Conti? I think he's in Cleveland; big name, extensive TTS experience.

Hi Donna,

You may want to take a look at this website for some additional information. http://www.neuropathy.org
They put out a newsletter and seem to be right on top of all new treatments and meds (including herbals). Good luck
