Dr. William Hamilton - Osteopathic Foot and Ankle Specialist

Posted by D.J. on 1/18/02 at 13:33 (070402)

I have an appointment in February to see this Doctor in New York City. Has anyone on this board worked with this physician before or heard of him? He is highly regarded by my physical therapist who specializes in Performance Art injuries. Dr. Hamilton works with the New York Ballet, but he also has worked with professional athletes such as Scottie Pippen and a couple Yankees. I still may cancel or postpone this appointment. New York City would be an expensive trip for me and I don't feel I've quite exhausted all my resources in the D.C. area yet. I'd appreciate any feedback I can get in deciding whether or not to pursue this option. If anyone has any negative feedback, please send via email to (email removed). Thanks!!!

I would look at Dr. Kiper's website 1st. He solved my PF w/ a special liquid silicone orthotic. Web is http://www.drkiper.com . Its all done over the web by e-mail or 800 phone. He'll answer your questions! He'll even give you your money back if you follow & no result. Not sure this is ethical after he tried... but others have taken him on trial period. A trial period takes about 60days. Good luck

D.J.,
If you have the opportunity to visit someone who is highly regarded by your PT(who knows your case) and has kept Scottie Pippen's feet healthy enought to run and jump for 82 games a year- I'd jump at at it. Most doctors I've met are only interested in restoring minimal function and relieving pain. Someone who is experienced at restoring maximimal function may be invaluable.
