mri results

I had an MRI test but am confused to the result. It showed no evidence of tts just a sliver of joint fluid along the posterior aspect of the ankle. Also no evidence of ligamentous of tendinous injury or inflamation. I am one year post tss release with no improvement and the added problem of RSD.
Pre surgery I had positive nerve conduction tests. Is this MRI to be believed and if it is why was it not done pre surgery. How can I have so much pain with no good test to prove it, this is very frustating.

The pain is usually from the RSD . This is a disease that to some degree will give you pain for a life time. Has your doctor explained to you what RDS is and how it can cause pain. The mri won't diagnosis nerve problems. See a pain specialists to help with this chronic pain

BEEN THERE DONE THAT! MY MRI SHOWED NOTHING THE SAME WITH BONE SCAN AND NCV/EMG NOTHING AND YET I HAD THE SYMTOMS. THE DR WENT IN AND SAID IT WAS MUCH WORSE THAN HE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE JUDGING BY ALL THE TESTS!! SO THESE TESTS DO NOT TELL THE WHOLE STORY!!
