very curious

Posted by narcisus on 4/16/02 at 01:29 (079795)

Hi,

I know this board is for people suffering from heel pain/pf. I have had heel pain for a long time and have been seeing a podiatrist. I am really curious to know this: why is it that one's weight and vitals are not taken versus going to any other physicians office?

What do you mean? Why don't they do it at the Podiatrists office?

Mine doesn't check vitals either....personally I'm glad he doesn't check weight! LOL

Yes, why don't they get patients vitals and weight at a POD's office?

Yeah, my pod doesn't do that either. And it's a very good question. Especially since some of the conditions they treat are very affected by the patient's weight. And (as I know all too well) steroid treatments can raise blood pressure...
