Bigger shoes

Posted by Cheri A on 4/30/02 at 13:08 (081789)

Today, I bought a pair of LA Gear, slip-on casual athletic shoes that are 1 size bigger than my old shoes. These feel really good. My foot doesn't feel 'trapped', and the tops of the shoes are not pressuring the tops of my feet. Anyone who feels their shoes are bothering their feet, might want to try going one size bigger, to see if it helps.

Cheri - another choice for us ladies - at least in an athletic type shoe- is to buy the shoes in a man's size. I needed more room across the toe area - my New Balance ladies shoes were to tight in this area - so my Pod told me to go buy a man's style in a smaller size. I normally wear an
8 1/2 ladies, so I bought a man's size 8 in my athletic shoe and this worked for me - a man's shoe is generally cut with a little more room.
