footwear for tts

Posted by Daniel C. on 5/06/02 at 00:56 (082568)

The physiatrist that tested me for tarsal tunnel syndrome explained that I have to always be wearing custom orthotic arch supports. Is it true that going without orthotics, tts will come back? This is what he told me.

Thank you

Hi Dan:

IT is quite possible. As the subtalr joint pronates strain is placed and the tarsal tunnel may become irritated. I would use my orthotics.
