IT'S NOW BEEN 6 WEEKS...

Posted by CINDY E. on 5/09/02 at 21:24 (083309)

HAD QUITE A BIT OF RELIEF THE FIRST 5 WEEKS BUT AM NOW GETTING SOME OF THE PAIN BACK UPON RISING LIKE BEFORE. PROBABLY A 40% IMPROVEMENT IN THE FIRST 5 WEEKS BUT NOW I'M A LITTLE WORRIED. TALKED TO THE DOC TODAY AND HE SAID I'M JUST ON THE BORDER OF KNOWING IF IT WORKED OR NOT. HE SAID TO MAKE SURE I WAIT THE FULL 12 WEEKS TO DRAW A FINAL CONCLUSION. KEEPING MY FINGERS(AND TOES!) CROSSED IN HOPES IT WORKS!!!!!

Re: DR. Z, RE-TREAT????

WHAT KIND OF SUCCESS RATE IS THERE WITH A RE-TREAT IF IT DOESN'T WORK THE 1ST TIME? ALSO, I DON'T REALLY KNOW IF I CAN AFFORD IT AGAIN! (I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET AS THE INSURANCE DENIED ME. TWICE.) I WAS WAITING TO SEE IF IT WORKED ON MY LEFT FOOT BEFORE TREATING MY RIGHT ONE ALSO. IF IT DOESNT' WORK AFTER THE 12 WEEK POINT, WHAT OTHER OPTIONS ARE THERE? I'M HEARING MIXED REVIEWS ON PARTIAL-PLANTAR FACIA RELEASE, FULL-RELEASE ETC. WHICH ONE IS TRULY THE BEST IF IT COMES TO THAT? OR IS THERE SOMETHING ELSE? CINDY E.

The rate of sucess does increase with a second treatment. Your doctor should include that second treatment if the first didn't work. WE do !
