I think that you will find some that it it didnt make the pain level go up or down. Every one is different. Mine went up about 20% for a couple of weeks.

It will be 9 weeks this friday. My pain level went up. That lasted about four weeks. It wasnt ugly but the pain level did go up for me about 20%. Now my pain level has gone down alot. I have had pain all over the bottom of both feet for the better part of five years. For me, its like i could draw a line from the back of my heel to my arch and split it in half. The outside hurts and the inside doesnt anymore.I have three weeks to go before i call Doctor Z again to treat the other side. I hope he will.

Do you think you will need another treatment on that same foot? Do you happen to know which machine was used and at what intensity? My husband was just reading over my shoulder and says 'are you going to get this done or not?' Currently my insurance doesnt cover the procedure and I am considering appealing before the procedure is done, but I am talking to people like you for feedback. I guess I am just putting it off because I am scared to be worse afterwards and not be able to waitress. Thanks for your imput. Carolyn

Yes i am pretty sure i will need another. But i will do it. They used the Dornier Epos at full power for me. I paid for the procedure myself. It took me 6 months to save up for it. Feel free to email me if you like if you have any other questions.

Hi

When we treat the foot . We are treating the entire width of the plantar fascia. But some of the treatment is low energy due to the shape of the shockwave. I will treat the other side at anytime if you want it but try to give it the full 12 weeks.

Dr. Z., are the follow up treatments included in the initial cost as part of a total procedure? That is a one time cost of $2500.00 for each foot?

Our fee is $2500 for one foot and an additional $1000 for the second foot.
so two feet equal $3500. If you need a second treatment that is at no charge

Dr. Z., Do I have to get both feet done the same day?

WE can either or both . It is your choice. If both are severe I would think about both
