Tarsal Bones

Posted by Minnie R on 6/04/02 at 23:47 (086334)

I was at the doctor and he took a x-ray of my foot and he said the tarsal bones in my right foot are flattening out and widening and it is causing a lot of pain but he said he doesn't know what could be causing it. How can I find out what is causing my problems. I have trouble with my left foot I hurt it 14 years ago and have had problems ever since, and he said it could be the stress of to much use on my right foot causing my trouble. I would like to know what can be done for the bones if they are falling apart what will they do for them?

It sounds like you need to see a foot specialist if your doc cannot give you an answer. Usually orthotics effectively take care of this type of problem.
