osification of the Achilles tendon

Histroy of problem. One foot already has had three operation. The other foot is developing problem. What should I do to easy the never ending pain.
Am very active in the outdoors backpacking, Climbing, Rappelling, etc.

Hi Jim:

You may want to consider sterotactic radio frequency lesioning. The procedure is surgical but utilizies needles placed in the foot under anesthesia. The area of pain desensatize the peripheral nerve endings causing pain. The procedure really has no downside. There is no surgical shoes after the procedure. There are no stitches or incisions. The procedure has a 92% success rate.
