Has anyone tried ancupunture for PF? If so, was it helpful?

Thanks.

Yes, I tried acupuncture. No, it didn't help me.

Tried it for TTS and general pain - helped me quite a bit. Worth a try!

I tried acupuncture long before I became better educated about PF. It did nothing for me (except dull the pain for a couple hours). I would not rely on acupuncture for anything but pain relief. The biomechanical issues still have to be addressed, and inflammation has to be addressed by other means.

Furthermore, there are quite a few quacks out there who purport to practice acupuncture. It's hard to pick the good ones without a knowledgeable referral.
