Joe --

Just wanted to thank you for your contributions to the boards at this site. I respect your direct answers -- especially when they include words of caution.

I've had bilateral heel pain for 4 years now which defies conservative treatment, as well as multiple ESWT sessions. I've had all the tests to narrow the diagnosis down to either PF or nerve entrapment.

Is there a particular foot surgeon (or surgeons)in Texas that you feel is outstanding? I'm in Dallas, but am more concerned about finding the best doctor than about finding one who is close. I feel I may need to consider minimal incision surgery in the near future.

Thank you.

One thing you may want to consider is going to the American Board of Podiatric Surgery Website http://abps.org (i believe) and get a list of doctors around there. I will check around with some colleauges this week and will post them.

If you are looking for a doctor who specializes in nerve entrapement there is Dr. Baxter. I believe he is from Houston
