what if surgery didn't fix the problem

Posted by Sue A. on 8/02/02 at 20:05 (091461)

I have had bilateral tarsal tunnel release. I also had bilateral plantar fascitis. The doctor cut the ligament to relieve heel pain. The first surgery was on Feb. 13, 2002 and the second surgery was on April 10th. The arches in both feet still hurt and I am starting to have pain up the sides of my feet again. Now what! Thanks, Sue

It can take up to one year to see results with TTS release surgery. Phyical therapy, orthosis, are just a few treatment that may help you get past the one year time frame for healing
