Encouragement

Posted by John L. on 8/04/02 at 19:51 (091574)

Five years ago, I had my first attack of plantar fasciitis. Now after 3 surgeries (both partial and complete on both feet) and an unbelievable amount of grief, I can finally walk long distances with minimal discomfort and no next day pain. My advice is to try surgery after conservative therapy fails despite what people say. I've even had physicians tell me not to have the surgeries. My next advice is to be open to all forms of therapy and reabilitation following surgery because you never know what will work. My last advice is to be patient. I think there is a lot to be said with the expression 'time heals all wounds'.

God bless and good luck!
