Perspective

Posted by margie p on 8/11/02 at 21:17 (092252)

Haven't posted for a while. Have had a hard time this summer with the PF and feeling very down. I had it all put in perspective today when a dear friend called and told me her 18 year old son was killed in a car accident on Friday. Suddenly the PF seemed minor!

Yes, when horrible things happen to other people, we tend to forget about our troubles. I will remember you and your friend in my prayers.

Yes, while the doctor tells me I 'just' have TTS, I am
greatful it is not neuropathy. A friend of mine has
peripheral neropathy. So debilitating. I get mad
at my feet/ankles, but I don't get depressed. I am lucky.

Yes, you are right. If you read my post above about one of my students, you will know that I have been thinking the same thing in light of her condition.

Best wishes to you.

Suzanne :-)
