I HAVE REUMATOID ARTHRITIS (accute). I TAKE INJECTIONS OF ENBREL TWICE A WEEK. MY DOCR. DOIESN'T WANT ME TO HAVE SURGERY IF IT CAN BE PREVENTED. HE TRIED TO INJECT STEROIDS INTO MY WRIST THIS WEEK, BUT I COULDN'T HANDLE THE SHOCK AND PAIN THE NEEDLE CAUSED IN MY HAND. WHAT CAN I DO FOR THE CONDITION TO PREVENT SURGERY? I AM KEEPING A SPLINT ON MY HAND.
