Can anyone here tell me if foot massage is good or bad for this condition?

Hi Carrie,
I answered your first post. I'm not a Doctor but I can share what has worked for me. I keep it simple, if it hurts I don't do it and if it feels good I do it more. With that in mind do what feels good for you, but I not only massage the tender heel, but I also massage my calves and my arch all the way to my toes. I figure it all connected so it has to help. It's a blessing for me as I do this 4 or 5 times a day, feels so good.

Carrie: My foot massage experience has been varied. I would advise against a very strong massage in particular if your feet are currently hurting. Some years ago I had a massage which was intended to create a lot of pain for whatever reason and it set me back for a month. Doctors have told me that massage for people with TTS is not recommended as it can do damage. A gentle massage can be soothing and is probably ok but let your sense of pain be your guide.
