Swollen ankle

Posted by Peggy P. on 8/22/02 at 11:39 (093213)

I am being treatment for morton's neuroma -- receiving sclerosing injections. This week was my third injection; while they are helping, yesterday when I got up to walk I felt tightness -- and a bit of pain -- at the back of my ankle where you flext your foot. Today my left ankle is swolen on both the inside and outside. I phoned my pod but he didn't seem concerned. He thought perhaps I got up and compensated and walked wrong. Any one else know what could be going on. In the past, this has happened as well before the sclerosing injections. I thought perhaps it was the nerve running along my ankle associated with the injection but he said it wasn't.

Anyone have any info?
