Possible cause of PNPosted by Marlene L. on 8/27/02 at 23:12 (093773)
I had PN about 20 years ago, and was falling because of the numbness in my feet. Luckily I went to a doctor who pinpointed the cause on my first visit: an overdose of Vitamin B6. I was taking about 2000 mg a day. I stopped taking the B6 immediately, and the PN stopped getting worse, though healing was slow. Even now, there's still a pit of painless numbness in my left big toe. WATCH OUT FOR B6. More than 100 mg a day can be dangerous.
