fibrous corns

Posted by martha p. on 9/01/02 at 08:37 (094118)

I have very painful corns on the side of my big toe. I grind them down from time to time with a dremel but there is a core that causes great pain like that of having a 16d nail driven into my toe when you just about get
it contoured to the shape of the toe.

Can you get me some more information about this subject and possible options and cures as I am terrified with the thought of surgery as I had an aunt loose a leg after having one of these removed.

Thank you for any help !!

Surgery is the only option for this problem if you are in such pain. So how did your aunt lose her leg from this type of procedure. Poor circulation, diabetes with complication. Please tell us.
