Insert in one foot only

Posted by biff on 9/07/02 at 13:31 (094693)

Somebody asked this in the message boards, and it's a good question. I try inserts (OTC), and they seem to help my one foot, but they bother my non-PF foot so much that I stop using them. Is it OK to use just one?

I am not a foot professional (just another PF sufferer) but I think that if you use an OTC insert on one foot only, it would affect your gait and you might get PF in the other foot due to 'walking funny' on it. I'd strongly advise that you either wear two or none. Maybe you are a good candidate for custom orthotics.
