Numbness, tingling in feet months after surgery

Posted by Linda on 10/22/02 at 06:13 (098068)

I just have a question. I had surgery 12/14/01 on my right foot, and on 3/29/02 on my left foot. I had tarsal tunnel release, fascia release, and spur removal. My feet were feeling almost 100% better.........until last friday. I was standing for about 2 hours, and my left foot went numb all the way up to my ankle. My right foot tingled, and about 10 minutes after this i got shooting pains up the backs of both my feet, which lasted about 5 hours. Is this normal, or has it happened to anyone else before? Just when i was happy to be pain free, this happened.
thank you

I had my surgery 2 years ago. I have not had any pain, but if I touch just the right spot I can feel some tingling from my big toe thru my arch.

I'm not sure if that helps you or not.
