PF surgery side effect?

Posted by Cheri W on 10/27/02 at 17:42 (098447)

I had Plantar Faciitis surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago. 10 days ago, I was almost walking normal. Then, I developed a pain along the left side of my left (pf) foot. the apain occurs when I am trying to 'push off' when taking a step. It causes me to limp. No pain at rest or standing. Just with the rolling motion when weight bearing and trying to complete a step. What could the cause be? What can help?

There are going to be weak joints and ligaments post plantar fascia surgery. Rest and try to avoid this push off. Wear a stiff shoe and avoid walking any long distances . IF this continue see you foot surgeon
