ankle pain

Posted by Eddie, U on 11/01/02 at 17:36 (098958)

After sitting for awhile or after sleeping at night; I have severe pain in the lower outside of my right ankle. I can not apply any weight at all. I can not walk. It even hurts when I am just sitting or laying. Sometimes it causes a burning sensation to go up my leg. Please tell me what this could be. Some people are telling me it could be ankle spurs, what do you think?

Possibly nerve problems. See a podiatrist or neurologist.

Did you ever find anything out about you're pain? I have the same thing. If I sit for a few minutes and get up, hurts alot to walk. In the morning, I cant put any weight on my foot at all. I think mine is surgery related. I had a heel fusion 6 mths. ago and as soon as the cast came off, it started.
