Wheat grass and colitis studies

Posted by Pauline on 12/23/02 at 16:39 (103857)

Dr. Reynolds (Jade cream) may come back to haunt the non-believers. It's main ingredient was wheat grass. I realize that not everyone that used the Jade got relief, but as Dr. Reynolds pointed out the medical world is very interested in its ability to heal.

An article printed in the Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology states that in a recent study treating patients with wheat grass juice for ulcerative colitis the group treated showed significant reductions in over all disease activity and in the severity of rectal bleeding. It was tested against a placebo.

I think it will be interesting to see the results of the new extensive research being done on Dr. Reynolds Jade cream in New Zealand. Wheat grass again.

Jade trial participants from heelspurs I think you should feel proud knowing that you helped to get this research project off the ground.

I was helped by that Jade cream and from what Dr. Reynolds posted I think many others were too.

I still have and use my two tubes of Jade- Puline. Does this mean I am 'jaded'?.

John,
I'm afraid you'll have to ask your wife if you've been 'jaded'. She knows you well enough to tell.

I also still put Jade Cream on 'just in case' but will be switching over to his new Wheat Grass Cream when my last tube runs out which will be real soon.

I've been totally pain free for months now and I sure don't want it back.
The cream surely can't hurt. I'm almost afraid to stop using the stuff so Dr. Reynolds will more than likely have me as a customer for life.

I'd love to go to New Zealand to be one of the new test patients, but without pain I wouldn't qualify, but a trip to N.Z. would sure be nice.

I have a web site that sells it in Australia but I am at work now and do not have it available. It is $16 for a tube and does come in different strengths. Do a search under 'Dr. Reynolds' and in his last post he listed a web page.

It 'works', if it works, by being absorbed through the skin, like any topical cream.

Sincew the plantar fascia is very superficial i would think that anything that is applied to the heel would be absorbed.

What do you mean the fascia is superficial?? That cream is advertised for SKIN problems -- even if it is absorbed -- I'm confused??? I'm willing to try anything, but I like to have an understanding of things too. Can any docs shed light on this? Mar
