Very painfull arch cramps!

Posted by Tina T. on 12/28/02 at 20:59 (104186)

Ow! OW! OW! This hurts VERY much! I have to quickly try to rub it when it happens. I seem to get them quite abit. It just isn't limited to around bed time. I can just be sitting reading a book, then, WHAM! It hits! It is like a bad charlie horse, like I use to get in my calves, once in while. What should I do??? Thanks!

Girly, I have had that happen myself. Let me tell you, go to a podatrist and get checked out. Get some orthotics. I use http://www.drkiper.com , SDOs, which I find I personally like. Everyone is different though.

The sooner you get help, the better. This is just the beginning. If you chose to do nothing, you will end up like me, not being able to stand more than 15 minutes.

I am getting better but only after much physical therapy, losing some weight and most of all, wearing orthotics all the time.

Since I am not a doctor I will quiet now. Good luck to you.
