If I might suggest something, have you haver been to pain management? I am not a Dr. so I am not qualified to give any medical advice as I feel uneasy about it.

But if You are in pain and so much you cant do normal activities or sleep do you think maybe you could find a good pain management program in your area? I feel as tho I have been to those caves of 'heck' and back and I know pain ,I also was told from some very good friends here and a few Dr.s that I should look into this and they have given me some hope at maybe getting some things back!

I mean at least it might be a start for you, maybe getting some sleep at night for first off which this alone can do wonders for our bodies and our minds. I have found my pain Doc to be a good start to finding out what is wrong with my body and how to start fixing it or at least a plan to do all that we can to get the most back for me AND my family!

There are many things available, among Drug therapy which I really hate those words wish I knew how to make it sound less harsh and forbiding but it really can be a answer, there are other things like relaxation I am learning this thru a good friend here on the board a wise surviving woman who knows the road of pain and stress and much more, might talk to Julie as she is the pro in that. There are pain blocks or different types of blocks among getting MRI of back , legs, brain what have you to rule out other obvious mocking symtoms.

The orthodics sound like they are older are they? I am not sure how long they last you might post questions to Richard I believe he is the pro in that area? I have found that foot gear is so important in this road of foot leg knee pain. So you may really need to look at this also.

Have you been to a Dr. lately? Have they done any tests? Worked any plans of care? Can you give more info? I really feel very sad to know that people live with pain and there are ways to get some relief honest! I am a born over brain that now believes in Drug thereapy under strict care with a Dr. who will work with you every inch of the way and a Dr. that I am not in fear of and will stay rite with him till the day I am ready to change directions. I hated meds of any kind and was fortuante I never needed them till this horror story started! I have learned so very much and I want to share a bit , one thing my pain dr. asked me when I said I DO NOT want narcotics, He said if I tell you you will die without this medication would you take it? If your heart was bad and this medication would ensure your life would you hesitate to take it? Then why wont you under my care and my rules worked together with your best intrest take the medication that will help you get some much needed sleep and maybe some pain relief so that you might smile again. Please know there is hope and I hope that you stick around.

I sympathsize with you Linda. I am 51 with similar problems, you are only 33. I too can't shop or even do my job with the pain, so i broke down and bought a motorized scooter. It is a tremendous help. I am also going for pain counseling and biofeedback to learn how to handle the pain until a miracle occurs. Investigate Pain Management at your local hospital. My thoughts are with you. Mar
