OssaTron question

Posted by BrianG on 2/06/03 at 21:28 (108288)

Can anyone tell me the pulses and joules settings for the OssaTron, when treating PF? I'm wondering if it's much higher than the Dornier Epos.

Regards
BrianG

The ossatron is 18kv at 1500 pulses. The dornier is 3800 pulses at 0.36
mj/mm2. The ossatron never talks about mj/mm2 which is the international standard of comparison . The highest power setting is .4mj/mm2 for the ossatron. The highest power setting for the dornier is 0.9 mj/mm 2. Does this help you.? The size of the focus shockwave for the dornier is 5mm by 20mm. I have no idea what the depth is for the ossatron. I believe it is
5-6 mm but I don't know the depth

Bill where are you ?
