Dealing with pain six months after surgery.

Posted by Clint M. on 3/03/03 at 04:14 (111548)

Its been six months since my surgery to correct a curled fifth toe on my right foot. I was told that it was a simple procedure and would help alliviate my pain. The surgery did not help in fact I have more pain now that ever before. I have tried orthodics and celebrex. Celebrex does nothing and the orthodics are very painful to wear. Is it normal to still have so much pain six months after the surgery? If not, what possible options do I have at this point to help ease my pain?

Clint:

That is generally a fairly simple procedure and you should have a lot less pain or, better, should be relativley pain free by now. What exactly did you doc state went wrong and what does he beleive the cause of the pain to be?
