Top of Foot Pain

Posted by NancyN on 3/04/03 at 08:25 (111693)

I have been having pain in the top of my foot. I went for x-rays which didn't show a break. They figure it is a stress fracture. I wore a medical boot for 10 days - which seemed to make it worse. It almost feels like an enlarged tendon (?) running from my big toe up my foot - it is extremely uncomfortable. Any thoughts as to what might be causing this - or what to do? I now have an ace bandage wrap on - but it doesn't seem to help either.

It could be a tendon problem. Is your cast boot padded. The boot may not be enough molding for your foot to rest. May need a hard cast. Could also need smaller sized boot cast
