night splints for TTS

Posted by Lolly O on 3/06/03 at 08:45 (111980)

I know night splints are used for PF/HS...but what about TTS?

The 'night splints' the Doctor gave me are terribly uncomfortable.
I would like to hear from as many people as possible about a comfortable option. (and if you think they work for TTS)

Thank You.

I cannot think of any reason to use night splints for TTS other than possibly preventing contracture.

They were expensive, painful, and gave me even less sleep that I was already getting. They did not help at all.
