Physical Therapy

I have PF and TTS in both feet. Has Physical Therapy helped anyone? Is it worth a try?

I tried 3 different physical therapists at different stages of my PF. The short answer is that it didn't help, and in retrospect, it is not hard to see why. The therapy included weight-bearing stretches and weight-bearing resistance exercises -- neither of which helped the injury to heal, and probably did some harm. Indeed, I should have raised concern about anything that was painful to the injured tissue. The third and final time was therapy following 4 weeks in a hard cast. The therapy was effective for regaining strength and flexibility in the leg and foot that had been rested; I don't think that there was any benefit to the PF, however. This is, of course, only one case history.
