question about TTS and MRI results

Posted by Pam S. on 4/14/03 at 22:32 (116149)

I have TTS. My MRI shows no mass, etc. Does this lessen my chances of having a successful surgery should I decide to have the nerve released. We really do not know why the nerve is entrapped unless it is because of the way I pronate when I walk.

Yes - without a clearly defined mass, surgery is very iffy. The surgeon does not have any idea where to cut to release the nerve.
