Permanent toenail removal

Posted by Joann M on 5/07/03 at 22:38 (118073)

I had my toenails removed permanently from my 2 big toes. It's been 8 days and they still hurt. My Doctor said i shouldn't have much pain. I can't even put shoes on. I went to see him last week and he said I had no infection. Is this normal to still have pain after 8 days? Thank you...

It is possible. to have pain. Keep shoes off of your toes until the pain
is resolved. We soaks our post nail surgery in warm, acetic acid and warm diluted. We then apply Gentian Violet. Good luck
