What we northerners consider to be warmPosted by Kathy G on 5/16/03 at 09:37 (118961)
We just received the Parents' Newsletter from UNH where my daughter goes to school. In it, there is an article about our record-breaking winter. The article contends that this winter was rough for even the the hardiest New Englander. It touts the fact that we are really rugged in NH and that we wear our summer shorts later than most parts of the country and UNH almost never cancels classes due to weather. The best line was this: 'Thirty degrees Fahrenheit is considered prime weather for Birkenstocks without socks.'
See how strange we are up here? On the other hand, it's not such a bad place to suffer from PF, especially if you go to UNH!
